Hanukkah “Light from the Heart” Project

Toward the upcoming holiday, in which the Israeli nation celebrates the Maccabi’s miraculous victory over the Greeks and the miracle of the oil can, there are children awaiting a different kind of miracle.  These children want for some warmth, love and hope for a better life.

In today’s reality, over 800,000 children live beneath the poverty line. For them, Hanukkah is even more difficult.  While all other children enjoy gifts, allowances and warm doughnuts, these children will continue to experience everyday poverty and hardships.

For Hanukkah 2008– Let’s join together to bring light and happiness to these sad children.

Project Description

The project will consist of the distribution of special gift packages to needy children, containing sweets, surprises, gifts and more. 

The packages will be distributed in the center and the north.

We intend to help as many children as possible receive the gift that will grant them a bit of light, love, and hope.

We call upon the all the  Friends of Israel to help us with this important project.

The participation options are:

1 packages – 5$

10 packages – 50$

Or any amount that you determine. aging the children, demonstrating solidarity and fraternity and, most of all, showing them that someone cares about them
