Pitchon Lev - Board of Directors

Pitchon Lev is headed by a five-member directing committee, in accordance with the law and the Registrar of Non Profit Organizations. Mr. Nissim Zioni, the founder of Pitchon Lev, was elected by the directing committee to serve as Director General of the organization.
The members of the directing committee serve on a completely voluntary basis, and constitute the legal entity entrusted with the ultimate authority for decision making in the organization, as well as setting a personal example to all the volunteers at Pitchon Lev. The committee members meet 12-14 times a year, in addition to undertaking their daily responsibilities.

The Chairperson and members of the directing committee who serve on a completely voluntary basis are in charge of an select, salaried professional staff of about 20. This staff, led by the founder and Director General, Mr. Nissim Zioni,, carries out the brunt of the work, and, with exceptional effectiveness, leads thousands of volunteers from every walk of Israeli life and from among Diaspora Jews.
