“Touching the Horizon” – Educational Programs

The educational center  “touching the horizon” began operating in 2002. The center operates for teens that have potential but lack resources, and provides them with tools that will help them succeed in school and life. Without our help, these teens might deteriorate to street life, violence and crime. The educational program is a long-term program that accompanies the teens throughout the main intersections of their lives: high school, military and entering adulthood as contributing and influential citizens.

The educational center’s activity is authorized by the Education and Social Services Department at the Ministry of Education, and is accompanied by a professional academic staff, qualified to work with endangered teens. Heading the professional team is Prof. Yossi Kattan from the School of Social Work at the Tel Aviv University, who accompanies the activity.
