A national humanitarian umbrella organization (RA 580328839), established in 1998 to work on behalf of the needy in Israel, without regard to sex, religion, creed, race, origin, or nationality.
At its aid centers, the organization extends immediate aid to the needy through distribution of food and clothing, as well as long-term solutions through vocational guidance aimed at helping the needy join the ranks of the employed.
Based on a belief that the future of Israeli society depends on the education of today’s youth, the organization also operates the Ilan Ramon Touching the Horizon Educational Center, where young people with potential and will, though lacking in financial means, receive an education, are empowered, and learn the tools to break the cycle of poverty.

The event occurred on March 8th, 2009, at the Community Center in Holon.
The Center was donated for hosting the gathering by Mr. Amos, the Center's Project manager, who offered his courteous assistance with a smile.

    

The guests arrived dressed in their Purim costumes carrying holiday baskets full of sweets and wine, and joined in a variety of activities: a makeup and face-painting stand, an acting and movement workshop, an unbelievable performance by an illusion artist, and many more party attractions. Food and drink were served to the guests.
The participants danced, laughed, and everyone agreed that it was a delightful and most successful event.
Pitchon Lev's volunteers and employees expressed their thanks to all who contributed their talents, time and holiday cheerfulness in making this a memorable occasion.
