We are pleased to announce the launching of the “Tabor” Project in the Ort Lilintal Junior High and High School in Ramla. The “Tabor” project is an individual and group empowerment program that puts a special emphasis of personal empowerment, interpersonal communication and coping with pressure and conflicts. Mentors from Pitchon Lev’s “Touching the Horizon” 7 Year Empowerment and Educational Program for Youth at Risk” will accompany the 25 students participating in the program.
Ido Shwartz, Director of the “Touching the Horizon”program relates, “ I am very excited to be launching the “Tabor” project in cooperation with the Ort Educational Network, who is a major partner in our activities. In addition, it is wonderful to have the blessings of Mr. Yoel Lavi, the Mayor of Ramla and the emotional support of the municipality.”
Mr. Yoel Lavi, the Mayor of Ramala, honored us with his presence and delivered a message of leadership to the students based upon his personal experiences in the army and as Mayor of Ramla. Amongst the guests were directors from the Ort Educational Network.
