Last month 17 new “Touching the Horizon ” classes were initiated, operating within the framework of schools and with the approval of the Ministry of Education.  Through this land-wide expansion we have reached a number of new communities, among them Carmiel, Tiberias, Rechovot, Kiryat Motzkin and Acco.

In the first year, 10th grade, “Project 7″ deals with the issue of development and empowerment of their inner self  of the youth.

The educational endeavor “Touching the Horizon” from Pitchon Lev was established in 2002.  Within its framework we are involved with education, developing leadership, empowerment, and advancement of Israeli youth through two educational programs that help the participants successfully complete today’s youth’s normative stages – completion of high school with a high school diploma, military service following that, and then discharge from the Army and successful integration into civilian life.

We see before our eyes future Israeli society within today’s youth and believe that practical mentoring, intent, emotional support, and giving a sense of being part of society, will bring to today’s youth a better future, and will bestow to Israeli society unity, cohesiveness, excellence and success.
